The Company

DORIE BARTON

has been performing with the Evidence Room since 2001 when she joined the cast of THE IMPERIALISTS AT THE CLUB CAVE CANEM. Most recently she played the role of The Countess in THE FALSE SERVANT, Mary in PASSION PLAY, Anna in Chekhov’s IVANOV and the title role in MARGO VEIL, both Evidence Room co-productions with the Odyssey Theatre. Previously with the E.R., Dorie performed in MESSALINA, CRINGE, PENTECOST, FLOW MY TEARS and THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH. She has also been seen on other L.A. stages, including The Blank Theatre in LOBSTER ALICE (for which she won Best Actor from the LADCC), at the Geffen Playhouse in Joan Rivers’ A WORK IN PROGRESS, and several productions at Theatre of NOTE, including Tony Kushner’s A BRIGHT ROOM CALLED DAY. Dorie has also been in numerous film and television productions, including recent work in Bobcat Goldthwaite’s GOD BLESS AMERICA, THE MENTALIST and a pilot for ABC. Dorie is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts School of Theatre.
