The Company

BETH MACK

originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and has a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Louisville. After doing numerous productions on and offstage in Kentucky and Illinois, she came to Los Angeles in the mid ’80s. In the early ’90s, she joined The Open Fist Theatre Company, first as prop master, then as stage manager beginning with BLOOD MOON and on to A WARRING ABSENCE, THE LITTLE PRINCE, VIEUX CARRE, HUSH and others. Beth also appeared in THE JOURNEY OF THE FIFTH HORSE. Over the years, she has stage managed for companies such as The Actors’ Gang, New Crime (ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST), Circus Theatricals (TARTUFFE, TWELFTH NIGHT), The Fabulous Monsters (THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST) and The Relentless Theater Company. In 1996, Beth came to the Evidence Room to stage manage TALES OF THE LOST FORMICANS, became a member in 1997, and went on to stage manage ANDROMACHE, ALMOST BLUE, FLOW MY TEARS THE POLICEMAN SAID (1999 and 2005), NO ORCHIDS FOR MISS BLANDISH, THE BERLIN CIRCLE, SAVED, THREE DAYS OF RAIN, DON CARLOS, DELIRIUM PALACE, PENTECOST and KILLERS, and assistant stage managed THE CHERRY ORCHARD, HOMEWRECKER, THREE FEET UNDER, HARD TIMES, all three of the HOLLYWOOD STORIES, MAYHEM, THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH and MESSALINA. In addition, she appeared in the first four 99 CENTS ONLY STORES shows: WORLD OF BARGAIN ENTERTAINMENT, SPLENDOR: A 99 CENTS ONLY STORES WONDERAMA, PEACE SQUAD and ORANGE STAR DINNER THEATRE and stage managed THE PAGEANT OF THE FOUR SEASONS. Since 2006, she has stage managed ATTEMPTS ON HER LIFE with ER and Unknown Theater and THE FALSE SERVANT, and assistant stage managed MARGO VEIL with ER and The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. She has worked as assistant stage manager at the Odyssey Theatre on WAY TO HEAVEN and HUNGER: IN BED WITH ROY COHN. Most recently, Beth was seen in the ensembles of PASSION PLAY and IVANOV with ER and the OTE.
