COLLEEN WAINWRIGHT
joined Evidence Room in 1999. In addition to her work as a performer (PENTECOST, IMPERIALISTS AT THE CLUB CAVE CANUM, SAVED, THE BERLIN CIRCLE, THE STRIP, PEACE SQUAD GOES 99), she is the Evidence Room's resident graphic designer. Colleen has also written & performed sketch comedy with the Groundlings Sunday Company and at the Montreal Comedy Arts Festival, and has appeared in a number of short films that have toured the festival circuit. Most recently, she and her writing partner, Jan Pessin, co-wrote, produced and performed #1 & #2, A COMIC PLAY WITH MUSIC, based on their real-life experiences with chronic illness. Following a sold-out workshop run in March of 2004, they are re-working the play with plans to mount it as a full production in the upcoming year.
