KEN ROHT
is a recent recipient of the Audrey Skirball-Kenis TIME grant, awarded to only five other theater artists/companies in the country. His original song and dance works have been granted and/or commissioned by A.S.K.âs Common Ground Festival, the Rockefeller Foundation, Dance Theater Workshop, Flintridge, California Arts Council and many L.A. theaters and institutions. He has choreographed for En Garde Arts and Gale Gates et al. in New York, Cleveland's Great Lakes Theater, Long Beach Opera, Disney, as a guest artist for Cal Arts and with Reza Abdoh's Dar-a-Luz throughout L.A., N.Y. and Europe. Ken also works in and on film, internet, cable, radio and recording projects, and was recently seen at the Getty Museum as part of Bill Viola's video installation PASSIONS.
